The May Family Farm was established in 1927 by Fred and Mayme May. In 1962, Fred and Mayme sold the land to their grandson Lee May. In 1963, Lee and Betty began their farming traditions. With the help of their four sons, they have proudly grown the farm into what it is today. Presently the farm grown produce includes: 10 varieties of sweet corn, 3 varieties of beans, 4 varieties of tomatoes, 4 varieties of peppers and 8 different types of pumpkins. In 1963, Lee began wholesaling the pumpkins to stores and markets in various parts of the state.
In 1995, the May Family began offering educational tours of the farm, fall hayrides, pick your own pumpkin outings, and all out country fun. Over the last several years they have expanded the events to include a Corn May-ze, Themed Hayrides, Picnic & Play Area, Group Party Space, and an Old Fashion Country Store. The store carries handmade items grown on the farm.
