To build interest in preserving and collecting all genealogical and historical records relating to the early settlers of Belmont County.

The dedication of members and volunteers the Chapter has a wide collection of genealogical research materials. Starting from resource books, military records, church, states, counties, family histories, Native American, African American, microfilm of local newspapers, a large collection of obituaries and a collection of Family Tree CD’s.

We fulfill many requests from out of state genealogists as well of local ones. Although many members have passed over the years, the Belmont County Chapter reflects back on the past experiences to help us move toward to the future.
