In 2007, Joyce Kuryla established About Gardens with the idea of amassing a collection of high quality outdoor garden decor to compliment the creative vision of landscape architects, outdoor designers and avid gardeners. She has taken her extensive knowledge of the landscape industry and strong background in business to locate uncommon sculpture, garden ornaments, fountains, planters, urns, and furniture from artists and small companies devoted to creating beautiful and functional outdoor accessories.

A showroom, located in the downtown shopping district of Hudson, Ohio was opened to provide a comfortable and creative atmosphere for clients and designers to discover, view and contemplate a diverse collection of garden art. From contemporary copper fountains to recycled wooden bar stools and everything in between clients interested in accessorizing a garden work with staff to find the perfect landscape focal point. Should a client not see exactly what they need, many of the artists and companies have the ability to create custom pieces.
