The Hudson Emergency Medical Service is celebrating more than 25 years of service to the Hudson community.
Staffed predominately by community volunteers and supported by a staff of full and part time career personnel, EMS provides full advanced life support transport ambulance service to the City of Hudson. Covering 25 square miles and a population of 23,000 people, EMS responds to approximately 1,500 emergency "911" calls per year.
Hudson EMS has state-of-the-art equipment, including three transporting ambulances and two paramedic rapid response vehicles, new technology biphasic twelve lead cardiac monitor/defibrillators, and a full range of advanced airway and trauma care equipment.
