Prevention and Education Services: drugs, alcohol, and tobacco use prevention, family education,
divorce education, child violence prevention, sexual assault prevention, HIV testing and counseling,
pregnant and parenting teens, Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE)
Life-Style ABC's Diabetic and pre-diabetic adult patients can participate in this 8-week, very interactive, educational series designed to assist patients in slowing disease progression or preventing onset. Content includes hands on instruction in nutrition and exercise, with supportive tools provided. Participants must have a primary care provider who will monitor lab results and disease management. Monthly follow-up sessions are included. Adults with no provider who are uninsured and at or below 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines may be able to establish care at the Free Clinic.
