Unlike most attics, this one is graced with scents of cinnamon, vanilla, and mulberry. It is, in fact, not an attic-but a country store-at 147 N. Main Street, in downtown Orrville, Ohio owned and operated by Audrey Merkle of Dalton,Ohio.

She has a wide selection of clocks, lamps, and kitchen decor, as well as many themed sections, including americana, cats, nautical, farm,birdhouses, garden accents,a nice selection of cards and calendars, and so much more.

Some of her more interesting curios include antique reproductions of mechanical cast iron banks and vintage balance toys.

You get a good feeling as soon as you walk through the door from the smells and atmosphere. You will enjoy seeing the uniquely painted floors and walls and other special touches, like a built greenhouse filled with wreathes, garlands, and silk flowers that look so real that people are tempted to lean over and smell them.
