The Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian
News and events in Cambridge have been carefully covered and analyzed for decades by the Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian, the second oldest newspaper in Ohio. The newpaper's history dates back to its founding in 1824. The paper has changed shape and owners often, moving from a weekly to a daily paper and from a Republican to a Democratic paper early on during its existence.
Now staunchly committed to providing an unbiased political viewpoint, the family-owned business is part of Dix Communications. The newspaper is a mainstay of the Guernsey/Noble counties region, extending its coverage into three other counties.
A far cry from its original method of delivering news in the early 1800s, The Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian’s website www.daily-jeff.com provides some daily news, sports and weather.
The Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian is proud to have been a part of the development of the southeastern Ohio region and plans to be a continuing part of that development.
Happy New Year!
The Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian will be publishing the annual Progress Edition. It is one of the largest and most popular special sections of the year.
