Smithville Heritage Days July 9,10,11 2010

Smithville Heritage Days is an annual event to raise funds for the Smithville Community Historical Society and the Village Park.  We have many fun events for everyone.  Threads Through Time Quilt Show features the work of Vikki Pignatelli. Tickets are available at www.Thymbles.com.  Friday night the antique cars will parade from the Wayne Co. Career Center to the Village Park.  Also Friday is the Ruritan Ox Roast, NOBPA Hot Air Balloon Lift-Off, Ladies Night Under the Lights, and more.  Saturday is the 5K Run for the Park, Ruritan 3-on-3 Basketball and Cornhole.  For the kids we have inflatable games and a dunk tank, Tom Roig and his Iditarod Sled Dogs and remote-control airplanes, DJ Russ Norris.  The Historical Society is sponsoring a Firemen's Chicken BBQ.  The Historical Buildings will be open.  Sunday will be the Old Time Baseball Game and drawing for the raffle prizes.  Visit our website www.smithvilleohio.org for times.
