Firehouse Grille & Pub

First time we ate at the new Firehouse Grill and Pub the food was really great and service was top notch. Reasonable prices. Today, we had prime rib special. The prime rib was about 1/4 fat (inedible)and very small and they did not have baked potatoes until after 4:00 so we got homemade chips and fresh cut fries. Chips were inedible, chewy and very oily. Fries were not much better........way too much oil/grease. Server asked if I wanted her to take the chips or fries back and have them put them in the fryer again. Could not see how that would do much other than add more oil so we said no. Will try it one more time and if it is not improved over today we won't go back. Being new, we want to make sure it is not a problem that will work itself out eventually and will give it the opportunity to be better all the way around.

I am with the band that played at The Firehouse Grill, recently...we have very little time between breaks, and waiting for TEN MINUTES just to get a club soda, IS UNACCEPTABLE! The barmaids were more concerned with filling the napkin/straw containers and doing beer inventory, instead of making eye contact with us, to see what we needed. Obviously, the management has not taken the time to TRAIN their staff in 'customer service'.

Didn't see the star rating....Nonetheless, i give Firehouse Grill ONE STAR, for very bad service !!
