Friendtique is the Friends of Hospice Boutique located in downtown Wooster. All profits from the store go to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County to provide an on-going source of revenue for patient care. Friendtique has enjoyed a great deal of success since it opened its doors Sept. 20, 2004. In its first full year of operation, Friends of Hospice (the non-profit support organization for Hospice and Palliative Care that oversees Friendtique) donated $50,000 to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County. Friendtique was named “New Business of the Year” in 2005 by the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce and was the only business in Wooster featured on a Northeast Ohio Live cable TV program for 2006.
Our 10,000 square foot 2-level store is filled with many unique items. We have a wonderful collection of quality, gently used furniture and accessories, exquisite women’s fashions, vintage clothing and so much more. Friendtique also hosts many events such as Cookie Day – on this very special day, children receive a free photo with Santa Claus and a decorated Christmas cookie. Our Christmas shop is open from October until Jan. 10.
Donations are always needed! You can bring your donations to us anytime during store hours. We accept donations of gently used furniture, antiques, glassware, china and silver, artwork, linens, mirrors, lamps, jewelry, pianos and ladies & children’s clothing and accessories. If you need a furniture donation picked up, please call the store and we will make arrangements.
